What kind of handwriting image works best?
Use a bright, straight-on photo or scan with every word easy to see. Avoid shadows, glare, blur, and cropped edges; dark handwriting on light paper produces the clearest result.
Where is my cutting board made?
Our cutting boards begin as raw cherry wood and are shaped using a CNC, hand-finished, and engraved by our team. Each finished board is shipped from Utah.
Which woods and sizes can I choose?
The Design Studio includes paddle, arched, rectangle, scallop-square, and scallop-round boards in the available sizes shown in the board picker. Paddle and rectangle boards come in Walnut, Cherry, or Bamboo; arched and scallop boards come in Walnut or Cherry.
Is the cutting board food safe?
Yes. Our boards are finished with food-safe cutting-board oil and are safe to use in your kitchen. Many customers use the back for food preparation and display the engraved front as kitchen or home décor.
How do I care for my cutting board?
Hand wash your board only and do not let it soak in water. When the wood begins to look dull or dry, refresh the finish with food-safe cutting-board oil or wax.
Will someone review my artwork?
Yes. Every board is reviewed by our design team for accuracy before engraving. If the image needs a meaningful adjustment, we’ll contact you before production.
Can I request changes to the drawing?
Yes. Use the revision notes while creating your design. If you have already ordered, email us with your order number as soon as possible so we can review the request before engraving begins.
What if my board needs to be redone?
We want you to love your board. If the finished piece has a production issue or something is not right, email hello@copperfoxco.com with your order number and clear photos. Our team will review it and work with you to make it right.
Can you preserve something other than a recipe?
Yes. Handwritten notes, signatures, letters, short messages, and meaningful doodles can all work beautifully. Upload a clear image with the complete artwork visible.
How long does it take to ship?
Orders ship within 3 business days and typically arrive within one week for U.S. addresses. Your order will be shipped through USPS or UPS.
Is shipping included?
Yes. Free standard shipping is included for addresses within the United States.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time. We currently accept and ship orders only to addresses within the United States.
What if my order is damaged during shipping?
Email hello@copperfoxco.com with your order number and clear photos of the damaged board and packaging. We’ll review the damage and work with you to make it right.
Do you offer gift boxes or bulk ordering?
Yes. Gift presentation options can be selected while designing your board. We also offer bulk gifting options to fit every budget, starting at $15 per item, for real estate, client, and ongoing business gifts. Contact us to plan your order.
